a descriptive portrayal of Marianne Delmar , based on the disney plus show percy Jackson I didn’t read the book yet, that is why I am playing an OC.  ❛Born of foam and velvet vow,
The rose-blooded child shall love too deep.
Her hands will bind what should be free,
And in holding fast, she seals her doom.
When silver tears outshine the blade,
And devotion weighs more than fate,
The heart she guards against all loss
Shall be the heart that fails her last.
Beware the bond that feels like home,
For anchors drown as sure as storms.
What she cannot release will break
And what breaks first will be her own.
In the end, love will keep its promise:
She shall die as she lived
Of love, or because of it.❜

Story

Marianne Delmar was born under a summer sky the soft pink of crushed rose petals, in a quiet coastal town where the sea was never completely still. Her mortal father, Antonio Delmar, restored old paintings for a living. He was patient and gentle, the kind of man who treated beauty like something fragile and sacred. Aphrodite loved him not for his appearance, but for the way he handled love and memory with such care. Their time together was brief.. divine romances usually are but it left behind something lasting. From an early age, Marianne learned that love was never simple. She was beautiful, undeniably so, but not in a way that demanded attention. Her beauty seemed to change depending on who was looking at her. To some, she felt like comfort. To others, longing. To a few, heartbreak. Even mirrors couldn’t quite decide what she looked like from day to day. People trusted her without meaning to. They told her secrets they swore they’d never share. Marianne realized young that affection could be dangerous, that love could be used as easily as it could be given.Aphrodite claimed her when Marianne was thirteen. By then, the signs were impossible to ignore: roses blooming out of season wherever she lingered, arguments fading the moment she stepped in, emotions subtly shifting around her like tides pulled by the moon. Not long after, a nervous satyr arrived to escort her to Camp Half-Blood, apologizing the entire way.The Aphrodite cabin greeted her with silk curtains, perfume, and knowing smiles .. but Marianne never quite fit the mold. While her siblings played with charm and glamour, she watched. She listened. She paid attention to how love actually worked: how it healed people, how it broke them, how it stayed long after someone was gone. Her abilities reflected that understanding. She could calm anger, deepen devotion, spark jealousy without saying a word, but she hated using those powers lightly. To her, love deserved respect. She preferred the shoreline at camp, where the sound of the water reminded her of both her mother’s domain and her father’s quiet dedication. She didn’t rely on brute strength in training. Instead, she fought with precision, using distraction, emotional awareness, and a celestial bronze dagger worn smooth from use. Monsters rarely took her seriously. That was always their mistake.Marianne’s fatal flaw is attachment. She loves fiercely and remembers everything. Letting go doesn’t come easily to her, even when holding on puts herself or others at risk. Still, she believes that real love, not obsession, not control, is worth the cost.arrived at camp : 10

- Marianne prefers listening over speaking; she’s most comfortable being the quiet presence in a room.
- She remembers how people feel, not always what they say.
- Has a habit of falling for emotionally unavailable people.
- Developes crushes slowly, but when she does, they linger : like her crush on Luke Castellan. A crush she never fully admitted out loud.
- Doesn’t flirt easily; when she likes someone, she becomes softer and more careful instead.
- Tends to romanticize what could have been rather than what was.
- Struggles with letting go, even when she knows she should
- Falls asleep replaying conversations and wondering what she could’ve said differently
- Struggles with the idea that someone could love her without wanting something in return
- Lets people leave without stopping them, even when it breaks her
- Has a soft spot for broken or lonely people
- Marianne’s hair changes depending on what your character prefers; it can range from silver-blonde to honey-brown to ginger.
- She isn’t skilled at Charmspeak. Instead, her power lies in emotional influence. With a simple touch or look, she can shift what people feel, cooling anger, easing fear, or strengthening trust. By changing emotions, she subtly alters judgment and decisions. People believe their choices are their own, unaware their hearts were gently redirected.
- She looks ten times more beautiful when she’s in love. Her eyes sparkle, her hair shines, and her skin glows. The opposite happens too. When she’s heartbroken, she looks tired no matter how much she sleeps, like love is what keeps her alive.
- She is from a small town in France called Perpignan, near the Spanish border. Her father was Spanish.
